First Met

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

hey, the one i used to gaze at from the back of the classroom.
i have been thinking, yea i have been thinking about you and me.
its just a love that has yet been seen.
hello darling, you seem to be wearing the lovliest perfume today.
i have been thinking, i think i will ask her about this weekend.

thursday morning, she is stuck with me in the hall.
she tells me that she is down and feeling sad.
i tell her that all will be well, and make small talk to pass the time.
her eyes they are the prettiest shade of blue, my reflection is staring back.
her outfit shows her body, and the next thing i know im day dreaming of night.

i think i will ask today, her lipstick looks cherry red.
stains, from the red would look really nice on my white shirt.
so do you want to come over?..my parents will be gone all weekend.
she hesitates, bites her lip, looks at me slowly and asks me what we will be doing.
we will be watching a movie, and contemplating everything.

she replies excidedly, yes i would love to come over.
saturday morning i wake up, fire up another bowl, watch my money vanish.
it is 8 o clock pm. it is time so i am lighting the candles.
your eyes are gleaming with passion, my heart is warm like the flickering flame.
and it is you, you who broke my heart...

I love every line of this write. There is only one thing that troubles me. When you say, "saturday morning i wake up, fire up another bowl, watch my money vanish." Are you speaking of drugs? If so, maybe that is why your "love" left you?? Don't take it personally please! Just an assumption.
TLC,
~Honesty~
