Topic: Suicide






I’m scared.


My tongue slides restlessly over my teeth –

A skier over snowdrifts, a truck crushing cars.



Second one like my fingertips are sensitive to this touch of unassumed hardness.


Unaware with flickering eyes and I don’t care but do I?
Pained panicking an avoidation of death. An inviting crazed animals within the mind
to rape me like i’m certain I would you.



Moving quickly so I cannot see
what I type and quick-fingered perseus
to solve nothing but a gush of blood




I stare halfheartedly.
I don’t seem to care, or
I’ve resigned to my shortcomings.
Leave to save yourself
the agitation of putting up with me.
Stay, but realize
I will see you as only I want.


In everything contary,
a flashing blue-red panic will separate
you from me in my own mind and I know you hate me.

I know you want to give it all up,
no matter whether you do or not
in reality.



I’ve come to realize reality doesn’t matter
to my state of being,
and I may as well stop speaking

now.
