Divine Paradox

The burlesque faces fall behind distant clouds
Carefully lay foundations, the base will fall down
Barefeet encased in the dew covered grass
The painted sky begged for a kiss, frozen without pass
A beggar gave his life to a sunny filled daze
Desperation covered cakes, to brighten the dying's day
A stranger's home passes by in frequent flight
As my feet carry me faster until I see "The Sight"
A revelation of ignorance, stands still in imaginary tears
Buckled knees, and a bowed head to hide from God's sneer
A laughing scream haunted the steps that dug forever solely
A divine corruption in life itself, destruction of the 'holy'
Contemplation is the devil in disguise to the sinful ones
Never a moment of truth or concept, just another aimless sun
Cock the weapon and have faith in the trigger so all of it can end
Not loaded? Another betrayal of another lost friend
Metal pressed to cheap hair-dye, for a dramatic effect
Another moment just to pass, another to defect ...
