UNDER A HUMAN MICROSCOPE
Everything seems to fade, under a microscope
of human life,
no one seems to notice
me
and my emotions leak onto the paper
copied by writers,
nearby.
Everyone now wants to see,
but no one really knows me,
how can they feel my pain
without witnessing it
themselves.
But every time I try,
they seem not completely there
they’re always
somewhere way off,
not here with me
listening to my story.
And every time I try to continue on
they finally see
their mistakes and
try but can’t succeed,
they wish they had listened to the unfinished story.
And they cried at what they had done,
never once to look back at what they’re doing
now,
and they finally realize
it’s too late,
to care about me.
But now that they have a chance,
their lives have changed,
but it’s too late to say that to me
I’m no longer here with them to
stay.
And they try
to connect with me
but it’s way too late, I say,
they wasted their chance
there won’t be another one.
Everyone looks at me,
under the microscope
of human life
and everyone now notices
me,
and my emotions are gathered up
from others near
and are written down by writers
nearby.
