There was once a time
I saw such big brown eyes,
in a tiny face, with
no wrinkles nor no lines.
Her little lips curved slightly up,
she saw me smile at her,
I had to smile at her tan face,
so innocent like a flower.
Innocents are being killed
more will be killed in war,
innocents with big brown eyes,
that linger forever more.

This was so touching. I read somewhere that over a 1,000 Iraqi children aged 5 and under die every week as a result of American embargoes. ONly more will die in the war. Maybe if the American government had a concsience they could see what they are doing.
