A Shadow's Death

The sunlight is my death,
It'll haunt me at my grave.
As I take in every breath,
As I slave.

chorus: Away from life I want to be.
Let me go and make me free.
Get rid of the chains that bind my soul,
Or else I'll die a shadow's death.

Living is my torture.
Laughter kills my mind.
Let's go to our departure,
So I can leave my life behind.

Repeat chorus

Take away my soul,
Make my heart a hole.
Kill me now so I can leave!

Repeat chorus x2

The sunlight is my death.

I love this but I think the verses need to be a bit longer. Great write.
