Hey man, shut yo trap
You let them school buses
drown instead of gettin yo people out.
You say, "God's angry with this world."
Save yo breathe go some where-n-hurl.

Oh what's his name say
"God's sending huricane afta huricane."
My God man, u r insane!
The God I hold dear to my heart
knows only luv from his start.

In the first place below
sea level ain't no good place
at least in my Earthly face.
Stand up and face yo own faults.
Thank God he's luving-n-place no fault.

Too True Emy. we place all the bad on God instead of looking on our own front door step first. It is mainly man himself that is at fault. Too fast in traffic and a family dies who do people blame why it is easy God is the nearest and yet the farthest away from us.Hugs from Bernard2.

never truer a word spoken! building a city below sea level right where they know there's hurricanes then blaming God!

I know Jesus was talking about faith when he told the parable about the wise and foolish builders but I can draw some parrallels there!

If they read the bible properly they's see the devil is running this sytem of things.

Ooooh! hark at me getting all religiousy!

Great poem written in your marvellous trademark fashion.

J

Good subject to write about. I have to agree with the fact that New Orleans being built where it was was just stupid. I am not religious...spiritual yes, this is no act of a god of any kind. I think it is because of the acts of stupid fools who think they can out smart Mother Nature. She's gonna win everytime. Peace, Laura

Yeah emy ... like houses on sand ... but hey, it wasn't "his" fault .... right ? So who else can he blame ? I think it impressive that politicians will fight to remove God from school ... then turn around and blame him for their shortcomings ... go figure.

It's amazing that when things go wrong people question and blame God.
An oustanding and perfectly penned piece of poetry u have presented us with here my dearest Emy. So much truth within the lines.
God bless u and urs sweet lady.
*warm love n hugs*
