Beneath Eternal Oceans of Life

Beneath eternal oceans of life,
rememberance is created
Millions of worlds are clashing in strife,
to emerge from this current unjaded

Time is a river that feeds from this ocean,
dissolving what has rotted away
No traces are left in this physical notion,
along with the mental decay

I have spent my life dwelling in this bounding main,
searching for what was once left behind
at the risk of losing my soul in this plane,
to be left for the next one to find

Somewhere in my journey deep down in this world,
a dark, winding road lay before me
Attached to the entrance time shrieked as it swirled,
"Just as I, you shall fade... wait and see"

I entered that realm through the darkness of time,
and gazed at the corpse of the past with a purpose
My mind became flooded with the thoughts of this crime,
as I swam these remains to the surface

Beneath eternal oceans of night,
my eyes followed the past as it cried
Forever I will bring these lost memories to light,
until the day I shall lay by their side
