I am the one with the loss.
You chose her over me,
and i must pay the cost.
My friends try and tell me,
that I am too good for you,
but wanting you,
is something
i can't help but do.
You flirt behind my back,
but I love you anyway.
Constantly wanting more from me,
but 4 some reason-
I wan't you to stay.
I can't stop you from flirting,
im not a control freak,
but the thought of you being gone-
makes my knee's so weak.
I need you about my life,
to make everything allright.
Because of you,
my future was once bright.
I am sure i will find someone,
as loving and beautiful as you are.
But if not,
My life and I-
Well, we won't get very far.

Love not returned is so sad. Your friends are right, you're too good for him, even if your spelling is inconsistent. lol. You have eloquently expressed your emotions in this poem, well done. Stay strong, someone better WILL come along one day.

God help us all . ya know somes times it's so hard to keep cool.
Any way from a lyric writer since 1979 this is an awesome write!!
As a matter of fact I'd call it a masterpeice. I luv the way u still have your confidence in yourself intact.
