After the leaves turn brown,
And that smile becomes a frown,
Will you remember?
When the pieces don't seem to fit,
And you are too tired to even sit.
Will you remember?
Will you remember that night,
When your soul took aflight?
And nothing in the world could bring you down,
Or make you seem like a clown.
Will you remember the sky?
And how you wished you could fly.
The stars lit up the darkness,
Seemingly removing the harshness,
That soon came with that goodbye.
Will you remember?
