No song needed to make us dance

Contributed by JONTED on Tuesday, 17th January 2006 @ 01:59:39 PM in AEST
Topic: war

No song needed to make us dance

No sentimental waltz to get us on the floor,
No lines lyrical to say that you I adore,
In each others arms, always smiling eyes,
We dance to the beat of happy sighs,
No song needed to make us dance; just love.

The way you kiss my neck still gets me all hot,
You still realise that it hits the spot,
One fingertip touch sends my head spinning,
For the millionth time we’re beginning,
No song needed to make us dance, just love.

Do you know what your smile does to me?
Just one look breaks my hearts barriers free,
I want to scream and shout now you’re here,
But before you return to war I’ll show you I care,
No song needed to make us dance, just love.

Return to me when the stupid fighting is done,
Doesn’t matter to me whether lost or won,
You were made for love, not for war,
Come back and love me, like you did before,
No song needed to make us dance, just love.
