~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let My Eyes
Oh my dearest angel
How long has it been?
Seems an eternity since I’ve seen you
I didn’t get to see you today
Not even a glimpse
That would be enough
To inspire me all day
To appease my heart until the evening
When again it will search for you
Tonight I got home too late
Too late to see you once more
Can I make it thru the night?
Right now you are sleeping
Oh that you might awaken only a moment
Allow my heart to whisper “ I love you”
I cannot endure another day
Without the beauty and magic of your eyes
The passion and warmth of your smile
Take my breath away with your beauty
Surprise and excite me as always you do
Let my eyes adore you!
Russ
Ain't love grand? Words inspired by love flow very well across the page. The element of impatience adds a nice feeling of tension.
