Suicide
|
He put his finger on the trigger,
And the bullet was released,
Counting down the last few seconds of his life.
Crimson regret,
Lay pooled on the floor.
And to leave the face of the Earth
Is but a dream to him,
To escape a world of pain and torture.
His body craving the never ending darkness,
Of death.
Slowly the world dissolves around him,
And all that is left,
Is the leering black of death.

Excellent write....could almost feel the cold metal of the gun. Suicide is never the solution. I've been there, years ago. Glad I am still here. Keep posting. Peace to you, Laura |

Remenber the old saying "It's always darkest before the dawn". So when things get to their absolute worst, be glad. Dawn is almost here. |
