Traces of her

Contributed by crow6279 on Monday, 16th January 2006 @ 10:00:21 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Lingering breath on my skin
memories never forgotten
Like a warm gentle breeze
I feel the traces of her

Her scent still surrounds me
exciting me like no other
My yearning for her so intense
I smell the traces of her

Exquisite flavor on my lips
savored like ambrosia
Hungering for her return
I taste the traces of her

Lustful moans filled the night
like fine music to my ears
Echoes of our coupling entice
I hear the traces of her

Closing my eyes to see
her beauty I cannot forget
Compelling me to search on
I see the traces of her

My body responds in kind
throbbing with unrequited desire
Pulsing in time with my heart
I need the traces of her

My life was once so complete
our bodies melded as one
Our senses in tune to the night
now just traces of her

It's so beautiful, but sad. It's like you're talking about a ghost. This is just a beautiful write.

Damn, this piece left me with a tear in my eye. So sad...so lonely...you can feel your pain and your longing in this write. Exquisite. Peace to you, Laura
