Wait For Me

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Monday, 16th January 2006 @ 08:54:20 AM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

I know I vowed I’d live life
I know I said I wouldn’t sit on the sidelines
And watch as opportunities flew by
But every time I try to talk to you
My mouth goes numb
My heart starts pounding and my body starts shaking
My mind freezes up and I cannot think
Until you walk away
I fear you with all that I am
Yet I love you with every fiber of my being
I cannot tell you my truth
I know I should
For tomorrow may never come
If I died tomorrow
You would never know
How much you affect me
And how much I longed to show
I want to live
I want to take risks
I might not be hurt like I fear
But this issue I have
Is hard to over come
So please, my love
Wait for me
At least until courage takes my hand
I promise that one-day
I’ll be able to tell you
But until then
Wait for me
For I shall admit my love for you
Eventually
