Here is my poem Drowning.

Contributed by butterflygirl40 on Monday, 16th January 2006 @ 03:50:27 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

I am drifting off as I was driving, I feel like I am drowning .
I am dreading and dreaming and hating the fact of drowning.
I am falling back into a dream and I am fearing the drowning again.

When I went jogging I was only kidding .. when I told you that you would be the one to do the dusting.

As I was dusting I heard someone knocking ,and then I realized it was you.
I knew I had been missing you because of the passing days.
You are always passing me by and you don`t even notice me are the messing place.
I miss the kidding around we used to do and the screaming of the two neighbors next door.
But now everything is lacking in this , so I guess I will just have to go on and keep dusting.

I am fearing the feeling I get when the hating and the begging of the two neighbor's next door.

So I go off to sleep again and dream of drowning.

And I wake to my scream , I just don't want to do this anymore dream of drowning it's scares me.,

I like it, dreams mostly have a meaning behind it but the person who dreams it is the ony one who can understand the true meaning.

It makes perfect sense to me but it sounds more like a night mare rather than just a dream.
Keep up the good writing.

oh how many times have I drown, and woke up only to keep dusting. Dusting is ok, it will keep you from drowning, I can feel through your words how much you are reaching out, letting the reader know just how much you care and love. Raquel Leah
