to he who would
lose patience in the world of
man
i say
some are weak
that others may be strong
and they will hold the sky for use all
to those who flame
without fire
bright without light
coat the world in plastic
sugar mediocrity
comfortable nothing
i say without low
there is no high
to the man whose sleep
is nothing but darkness
and the morning after
i say
open your eyes
and
dream
but to he who would stand
quietly
quietly
On the edge of eternity
with all of oblivion
raging
quietly
quietly
and ask with a steady heart
and strong gaze
why?
smile and say with certainty
absolutely
nothing
