Looking in the mirror,
I dont know who I see
Looking and not knowing,
This person once was me.
Staring into my own eyes
Not knowing what is there,
Wondering should I know,
Or should I even care.
Its amazing what this feeling does
It can make me feel this way.
Im truly happy these last few weeks,
For me that’s strange to say.
Happiness isnt hard to have,
Just hard to hold on too.
Ive had some days, some weeks of this
But still its all too few
Im gonna keep this feeling
This feeling I hold dear.
It guides me home, keeps me safe,
Keeps me away from fear.
