Immortal Gratitude

Words shifted beautifully in sequential chaos
A day bleak and with unrequited pettiness
Only to be abolished by your unexpected glamour
Insight is but the key to existence,
And knowing one has sparked that solidifies immortality
You are only immortal to the dying,
And held so highly in a plain of those who try
Punctuation merely delayed the delight
But the Finish, I knew was coming
A bittersweet knowledge in seeing the end,
A finished task, only to strive for the new
Will I ever compare again?
Only the immortal can know,
And only you are immortal
