Tomb

LostLove

Pieces come together over a long year’s time.
Forming a symmetrical shape only those
With clear eyes can see.
Hidden beneath the tomb of imaginary wants
And losses are pins so long ago released from within.
Dull is the pain that a stitched up sacrifice
Causes as heroines dance around mimically calling out,
“There goes a dove! There goes a dove!”
Scattered on the floor are remaining feathers
Fluttered together in the shape of eternal life,
NEVER thinking twice.
