D-----,
our love was simply a dream,
a lovely star in an ebony sky;
it twinkled,
it fluttered,
it caught my eye,
but slowly and surely
you were lost amongst your sisters.
I gaze into the heavens nightly,
and am reminded,
there in,
of all my failures...
perhaps,
once in a while,
I will discover new stars,
and add them to my collection of silly thoughts,
and impossible dreams.
Good-bye, D--,
Good-bye.

Memories...for me...are like our prints....marks of our life.....sometimes we review those marks.....and some we enjoy ....some make us sad...but they are just who we are or were......
....recording them in poetic writings can be like ...purge? heal?...or simply revive dear moments.........
Nice work as usualy! |
