Yoga of Concentration is generally called Nididhyasana
Identifying self with God is obtained through Raja Yoga
Harmless give-and-take is the first step, called Yama
Purity of mind and devotion the second step, is Niyama
One`s posture, erect and easy, is the third step Asana
Primal energy thru breathe, is the fourth step Pranayama
Gathering your thoughts, is the fifth step Pratyahara
Sixth, Concentrate on object of meditation, by Dharana
Seventh, prior to super-conscious state is Dhyana
Final super-conscious state is the Samadhi, by Mantra
If your object is “Jesus”, the mantra is “Jesus Christ”
If your object is “Rama”, the mantra is “Rama Rama”
If your object is “Allah”, you can utter the mantra “Allah”
Repetition of the mantra sets the mind for meditation
Subconscious utterance in the night, rises when waken
Purification of subconscious transforms the person
Sanskrit word “Yoga”, meaning to join or to yoke
It is the communion with god, for the mind to evoke
Achieve the purpose of your life and not to revoke
It is the intense thought upon god and not a joke
