The soldier comes home, his armour covered in blood
He has traveled over hills, in the snow and the mud
His weapons of destruction, he slings over his arm
The enemy's heart, he carries like a morbid charm
He travels back home, and the sun starts to dim
He thinks, for once, about the good deep inside him
The confusion and anger, which he has felt
Begins to dissapear, as the ice starts to melt
His arm ripped in battle, begins to rapidly mend
His heart shinning brilliantly, causes his frames to bend
As the armour disapears, and the metal turns to skin
He cleans the slate of his mistakes, and is forgiven for his sin
As the Ice-Metal warrior, exits from his shell
Out comes a mature young man, whose eyes have seen hell
Those same eyes of ice, he now uses for charm
Only if provoked will he use them to harm
He knows there's more to life, than being able to destroy
He's passed his first test.....no longer a boy
