You must think you know me
like the back of your hand
well let me tell you something
I doubt you'll comprehend
I don't need you anymore
You have put me through enough
I stood there like a fool
trying to seem so tough
Finally broke down
found myself in a bathroom crying
make-up running, wearing a frown
why didn't I see it coming?
I got so many hugs that night
people saying,"I know how you feel"
I only needed one hug..
to make everything alright.
I needed one from you
but you didn't care I was crying
that my eyes were blood shot,
and the fact I felt like dying.
What was more important
to you at that moment?
Was it someone who wasn't there for you
all those nights of sorrow?
Do you know how you made me look?
Do you know how you made me feel?
Do you care that is over?
Or are you too "cool" to be real?

A sad and emotional write filled with pain from a wounded heart. A very well expressed and written piece of poetry. Chin up may ur days ahead be much brighter.
