From a place inside my mind, the ocean beckons me
Never passing judgment, it whispers gently
Cradle me with your gentle currents
which have existed since the edge of time
Hear my sorrows, my triumphs and pain
Let your winds sing it's constant chime
Embrace me with your loving charms
Like the mother that I wanted to have
Listen to all my hopes and my dreams
Never change, although the world has gone mad
I want nothing else, except for you to listen
when I'm in need, and the fresh tears glisten
down my lonely face, as I'm in need of a friend
My friend's lives may come and go, but I know yours won't end
And when I am gone, many years from now
I want my ashes, if I can do that some how
Scattered across, your beautiful tide
So I can be part of forever,
and be by your side
