Skimming, glancing
Seeing, looking
Watching, inspecting
Taking it all in
Without understanding, without caring.
Not wanting, but needing
Glowing and twinkling
Glassy, icy
Childlike, innocent
Welcoming but so penetrating
Demanding
Shimmering emeralds in a smooth creamy ocean
Soaking up all the colors and textures.
No bigger than my palm but my inspiration, the reason I continure to live
Through every season, thought and emotion
They will never lose their magic.
Baby, your eyes are holding up my sky.
