i remember
when i was your little girl
i remember
how you showed me the world

i remember
when you thought me to write
i remember
you said lifes worth the fight

i remember
that i was your prize
i remember
the way you looked in my eyes

i remember
when i walked across that stage
i remember
that quiver in your face

i remember
when i found you were ill
i remember
when you said youd stay with me still

i remember
although your not here
because your still in my heart
my mind and my tears
