The sky fell down
But it was okay
The sky folded in front of me
Cut in half the rest of the day
The sky fell on top of us
But the stars were shy
The sky fell right through you
You are a ghost and you are mine
The trees were not glistening
But the frost was all over the ground
The sky brought the bitter cold
It didn't make even the slighest sound
The sky fell this morning
But the burning wreckage was spent
The sky watched with curiousity
And suddenly I forgot just what exactly you meant
Because you told me the sky was falling
And not for a second did I think it was a lie
I ran for cover from the empty blue
You sat there and laughed 'til it made you cry
I told everyone the sky was falling
But you made me to act like a fool
What am I if not a messenger for your trickster head
Just another empty one, watching as the sky falls, you silly tool
