Mother

Thank the good lord for such a friend in deed
a lady who watched me grow every step of the way
and cared for my every need

Even though we had very little
she sacrificed so much
to give me the perfect life
and see my every wish was fufilled

There was no one so protective
no one so loving
no one so careful as mother was and still is

Never did I stray to far
never once was I out of her sight
she always made me sure I was alright

There was no place safer than in her arms
nothing so soothing as her gentle voice
just hearing her speak once I knew Id never come to harm

Every time I got to school
in my notebook Id see
little messeges written just for me

Just a simple thought like I love you
or have a nice day
those little notes made me feel so loved
that nothing could take my love for her away

While at school I was an ousider
at home I was somone imporant
somone who was loved
my mother I thank you so much your truely a gift from above

My life is not complete without you
your my armour from the outside world
an with your guidence I feel invincable
with your love I feel wanteed
which in the world outside I do not feel

This is to you my angel my best friend my mother
there is not enough words here to express my appreciation an love
nor is there enough time left in life to thank you because you simply
mean so much to me I could never say enough or do as much that would be needed
to show how much you truely meen to me

Thank you father in heaven for the gift of life
thank you for every one and every thing Ive known
thank god for my sweet mother, the best friend Ive ever known

This is absolutely wonderful.... I am sure your mother loved it and will cherish it forever...
It's not very often one sees such praise bestowed upon a mother.
Well done..

Aren't moms the greatest. We appreciate them more than they will ever know. For most of us there is so much they do for us that goes unnoticed. Good for you that your mother knows just how much you really care.
