I don't know what is coming
The path before me is closed
Like the things I'll never know
It's sometimes hard to go on
I don't know where I'm going
Just wandering around
Different directions I can take
But I prefer to stay in this town
I've never know another place
Then the one I'm living now
And if I'll move on to another place
That will be the only town

I often wish that I had stayed in one town. My father was in the military so we moved every 4 or 5 years so I don't have any place to call "home" or any really close friends. Sure moving can be a great adventure and a chance to meet new people but it makes it hard to get close to people knowing you might leave them again. This was a great write and as you can tell, i can relate to completely! |
