I never did know you,
But they say I've got your smile.
I never did meet you,
But they tell me I have your style.
Living in the footsteps
Of a ghost from the past-
It only seems to cast
A looming shadow.
On me, on those I love-
And from above,
You watch as I untangle
This delusion - this mess.
Why don't you leave me be?
Why can't I find peace?
I know why. You're part of me-
Every last piece.
