I still remember the last time I saw your face,
Your mixed feelings made you seem like a Monet,
Always confused but smiles every single day,
No matter what someone told you-it ricochette'd,
Bounced off of you and the smiles continued,
Not a word a person said could offend you,
But now you are a person that doesn't exist,
I've searched for you in the endless abyss,
Feels like yesterday you were here with me,
Lost in the day together without this pain,
But it seems that growing apart was my mistake,
Now I can never see you for an eternity,
And every second itself is hurting me,
I never was ready to ever tell you bye,
Sometimes I can see your image in Moonshine,
I pray to find you but you are always hiding,
I can't believe that I saw you die untimely,
Everyone in the world wanted to get rid of you,
I look in the mirror and i'll be missing you...

Dearest friend Alex it's great to see you posting again my friend. It seems like a lifetime since your words graced the walls of our heart. You have been missed dearly my friend. An outstanding, sad and well delivered write. You can feel ur sadness through ur words. Chin up sweet guy. It's really great to see you back. Are u still with the marines?
