I went across the US
Looking for a fresh start
Trying to find love
With an already broken heart.
Just wanted a better life
Wanted to be happy and somebodys wife
Surrounded by lots of new faces
Looking For love in all the wrong places
Even dabbeled in different races
And what I learned through all of this
Is a kiss is just a kiss
And that love can''t be
Until I can love me.
That sometimes people fall in love
With being in love
And that you can love somebody-
Yet not be in love with them
Even having faith in the man above
Sometimes just isn''t enough
to help through all this stuff
And the only way to be happy and free
And for love to be
Is to learn to love me!
