Just another piece
In your menagerie
Made of glass,
I’m fragile.
You leave me disguised
With dust
To dull to catch your eye.
The others proceed to glean with more radiance.
As I lay shattered
You brutally sweep up the pieces
And dispose of them
As you have with so many others.
