its the end of winter (the time for a new spring)

Contributed by abnormalpunk on Friday, 6th January 2006 @ 11:27:47 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

its the end of winter
and spring has come to be
alas i relieve the dreams i had
remembering you
remembering you

i shall awaken tomorrow
and stare the sun head on
the burn on my skin
is nothing compared to you

you left that day
you left me there
you left us all
you left yourself
you left
and we all cried
not just when you left
but when we realized you wouldn't come to visit

august came around
a second
a third
a number of times to many
and your chair just sat there
collecting dust
and the seat next to me
was never replaced

people say
'a life is to short to worry'
but what about when that life ends?
is there time to worry then?
or is it just a waste of time
of time
that does not exist

there was that time
i visited your house
only to find the little things
you just recently left behind

i got a message from you today
you sent it in the clouds
it was a ray of sunshine
it fell upon my heart
it said to me
'come, let us be together,
for once you realize the truth
heaven is forever...'

to you tia mary
i miss you
