a midnight overture

Topic: AngryPoetry

the sirens they rings tonights midnight overture
to idiots at bars that arn't that much mature
a cry of freedom from somewhere in the back
gun in hand somking some crack
flag is waved in this one gun patrotic salute
as a country fumbles over someone elses dispute
scarlet red drips from the wall
thats where the wife supposedly did fall
sons stealing junk for his make belive kingdom
trying to find what he calls freedom
a silent cry but from millions its a flood
as nature takes back some of its blood
hate and destruction from a mindless society
all following there goals be all that you can be
all for one and forget about the rest
who cares about them they are only just pests
this rhythm this fire a dance for all time
feeding with fuel we commite to the crime
blind ,dumb and senseless we listen to there ways
even thou in our heart we hear betray
a longing a feeling deep in our depth
looking for hope but losing our breath
one seed of mankind to harvest the rest
where is your hope what do you find best
just losing aspect of this mindless disease
trying to run trying NOT to please
society in decay flawless in its mass
losing all aspect humanity it lacks
one cry from a soldier not fighting his war
as his goverment acts like a money hungry whore
this is one flick a view in my way
this is why i choose not to play

BRAVO! Regan, I stand for your applause!
Insightful, emotional, but so true in all aspects. People without hope, People trying to find hope, finally cave in with all the rest!
I especially liked the "government acts like a money hungry whore" and so does everyone else. Money is a God in this system of things. It talks louder even than God's principles!
Enjoyed this tremendously
Warm love
