Play Date with the Moon

Sweet dark moonlight come down to play,
Seduce me always with your charm;
Freeze me, numb me,
Run your soft glow along my face...
Charge your wings for my weary eyes,
and take me far from it all.
In a strange remenisce, so bittersweet,
A memory so hard to swallow down
Tasting like old tears
Emerges from the depths of me;
I can feel the skin under my fingers again...
As I commanded the cries and sounds of man.
Stained and chipped, old flame still burning,
I walk along your moonlight path.
Guide me, show me
The best way to go from here.
Watch me closely as my soul beckons you...
As I take away the vital stream of my being.

This is so visual, a very vivid write indeed. Im sure there's some deeper meaning I'm missing from this write, but it was so descriptive...a beautiful write. Well done |
