Into the severed canopies of night, crawled passing over head the moon, I walk afraid.
In shadow, slate black shadow creeping past the light, I see form and figure, fear and hope, smuggled by the moon. I am afraid, singing silence for a prayer.
Upon my deliverance home, I cast the furies of my eyes upon the sinking of the stars, and still, I am afraid. In the mirror I cast my thoughts, and see her blood red hair. I turn away, afraid!
It is in the cadency of fear, that I find I am not alone.

This was very well written. i enjoyed reading this. I love the last line!
Fear of the dark is horrible. Yet for some reason, i never move the things that scare me, keeps me on my toes i suppose.
Well keep up the good work

...I really wish there was a chat room sort of thing on this site so we could delve into some of this stuff...
...effective imagery and all...the words are like drops of rain in a puddle...it's almost as if each word is an independent autonomous splotch of feeling...and like the raindrops in a puddle their effect isn't linear, but radiating outward and blending or at least impacting all the other ripples until the storm stops...you look around...everything is the same, but everything is different...nice mud puddle!!! just joking...well expressed...
...thanks...
