another day survived in this dark cold jailhouse
is another day im closer to being free
they treat us like dirty old mangy dogs
but they can't get to me
the smell of amonia burns my nose
the aeroma makes me sick
the guard lock me up in my cell again
man he realy thinks he's slick
my home is made up of concrete and stone
theirs no place to lay my head
lonelyness is tearing at my soul
i think im better off dead
i dont think anyone really misses me
or even knows im gone
the hardest part of being in this rotten cell
is knowing that the world has moved on

Just hold on to the first verse
another day survived in this dark cold jailhouse
is another day im closer to being free
And in the mean time decide how you're going to make life the way you'd like it once you are free.
good luck |
