precious memories

precious memories return and unfold

precious memories never grow old

when in the darkness they provide a guiding light

reminding me that things will be alright

they give me hope for a needed new start

these precious memories remain close to my heart

Short, sweet and to the point, these writes are often the best. Your rhyme scheme flows perfectly and your imagery fits the message so well. This poem is simple and well-written, great work...keep it up!
