Road of Life

Contributed by Poetic_Soul_of_Iowa on Tuesday, 3rd January 2006 @ 04:20:42 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

From beginning to end
Life throws many curves
Twisting and turning
as if on a winding road

Only one way to go
Forward there is no heading back
What has happened
can not be changed
What will happen is your fate

Things happen for a reason
Good and bad all have a purpose
The road you travel
will lead you to where all of us go
Death, it’s the final destination
It is emenate

We are molded to who we are by the twisting and turning on a winding road. Death may be the final destination here on earth--but God promises a better life afterwards when we follow Him!

Good words and thoughts!!!

A good poem, but it ended... darker then I thought it would. I too believe that everything that happens has its reason. You trip, fall, get up, look back and see why you fell, and then keep walking, now you know where not to step.
Sorry for rambling.
Take care.
David
