There are nights when i'm cold and alone
and i dream of you being home..
then there are nights when i am so glad i don't have you anymore
but now i must wander what all the harshness was for.
I miss the man that made me laugh
and hate the fool who made me cry.
I love the man that saved my life..
and dispise the jerk that made her his wife..
I often want to ask you what i should do
so often i want to forget about you,
forget the love, forget the years,
deep down i could never forget the tears.
I know what i could of done better
but you were just as bad.. but it don't matter
or does it..
do you ever miss me
nevermind forget i asked,
it be just another lie.
I try so much not to hate you
but somewhere in my heart i already do
but you'll never see my tears
because then you'd have to face the harsh reality
that you broke me even more than I ever could
love you
