Eternal Communion

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Sunday, 1st January 2006 @ 04:16:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The air is impregnated with the luscious fragrance of our love,
Freshly made, droplets of lust still adorning our eyelashes,
Like morning dew on sleeping roses…

Our hands are dancing with our hearts,
Such tender sensuality in the messages you caress on my skin…

{Feather fingertips of heavenly proportions…}

Your eyes are whispering poems of cerulean adulation
Embracing me with arms of Winter and kisses of Spring,
I am melting into a thousand seas, yet
My love is deeper than any abyss
And surpasses
The horizon…

~*O*~*O*~

I awoke to the sunrise of your smile,
Still sleeping in your gaze of sapphire reverence,
Still wondering why you chose me,
But, like everything else, all of my reckless doubts and insecurities

Vanished

With a simple

Querida…

~*O*~*O*~

^*v*^*v*^*v*^*v*^

Some say love is the key to all things,
Others say it’s only an excuse to hurt…
If so,

Darling, you’ll always hold the key…

My gothic saint, torture me until I have nothing left to give…

^*v*^*v*^*v*^*v*^

I’ve been breathless for longer than my lungs will permit,
I’m shivering and turning all shades of blue,
My heart is only a faint harmony,
But it’s always a hymn of you…

I’m dead.

A serene smile still spreading across my face
Post-mortem bliss

Your lips bathed in the tear that had lodged itself on the corner of my cheek,
Replaced with your own saccharine rain from crystal skies,
I am still

F
A
L
L
I
N
G
.
.
.

Into the perpetuity of your eyes…

You needn’t say a word.

I’ve already surrendered…

To your embrace of blinding divinity
To your kiss of unfathomable completion
To your endless love…

And with this, I live,
Because you are every breath that keeps my heart singing,
You are the thoughts that haunt my days and sleepless nights,
The inspiration, the will, the reason
That I open my eyes everyday…

So hold me close, and don’t let me go, (because I don’t ever want to leave…)
Kepp me inside your heart so I can stay forever,
Basking in the myriad of colors
Of your flaw-fully perfect soul…

Dance with me to the rhythm of lovers’ dreams,
Orbiting some distant moon with synchronized steps,
Lips joined in blissful matrimony,
Laughing at the past and the shells of who we used to be,
Walking our own path with held hands,
Loving eternally…

Hoy, te quiero más que nunca...
Y continuaré, hasta que no pueda ya.
Deberá decir...

Hasta la muerte nos hace despedimos.

I love you.

Beautiful Stephy I am at a loss for words to
praise this which tends to happen a lot after
reading your poetry. I am trying to find the
words to describe this, but I am at a loss it
was just flawless... and I'm going to read it
again.

I can say nothing that we were not immersed in all night... you've captured me and everything that you say, this entire poem, may well have been from my own lips....

For I have nothing to append to it.

Aún en apatía, usted es hermoso y divino..

Te amo, Querida...

Yo nunca permitiré que usted olvide..

I returned ... time and time again to this line ... these words

"... your flaw-fully perfect soul ... "

My first though ... would you have meant flawlessly ? But ... having read enough of your words to know that you were writing what you meant ... I thought ... Flaw-fully - full of flaws, and yet ... still perfect because of them, inspite of them, that it could be the recognition of the percieved flaws of another that could draw us, or them, toward one another.

I read that ... and felt a deeper admiration of your writing ... once again. Way to go Steph. Senior Buccan ... he has reason to be pleased.

It is often painful yet blissful to
to feel love and passion as deeply
as many poets ( myself included ) do.
Each time I write I try to pull out and
showcase that emotion. More often
than not I am left with something far
less than spectacular and that is one of the many things that
amazes me about your writing. You
are able not only to consistenly access
these emotions but also to make your readers feel every word. You are talented period. Love your work , Truly , Doug
