As I walk, my armor grows,
My sword grows sharp with time.
My mind takes in the reason
As my soul takes in the rhyme.
I see as many endings
As I see things begin.
No use to try escaping,
Though we all can get the whim.
From birth to death we travel
Faster than we know
And though we think we’ve seen it all,
There’s still some place to go.
Though our fabric may unravel,
We always have the twine
To repair where we’re broken
And strengthen where we’re fine.
But soon, the end will come
As we fight when we can’t win
And our life will start to end
Yet another will begin.

I really loved this! the stanza:
"Though our fabric may unravel,
We always have the twine
To repair where we’re broken
And strengthen where we’re fine"
amazing way of looking at life. Inspirational!
