In The Corner She Finds Herself

Contributed by injectionxinfection on Saturday, 31st December 2005 @ 12:32:21 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

She wears all black

And ignores everyone's taunts

Her eyes are dark,

And the only color

Comes from the bracelets on her wrists.....

And she walks around,

While her head is bowed.....

Facial expression shows no pain

But eyes almost bearing tears

Though no one could know

That she is really content

She is fine with the way she is...

Even through all the anger

She is still alive

Even if she doesn't want to be

But is she okay?

Negative thoughts can be positive

And positive thoughts can be negative

So they keep on making her life Hell

But still she wears all black

And bears no pain...

And they continue with their taunting...

And she enjoys it

packed with expression that is what makes this so powerful. I admire the part where she is comfortable with who she is. Thats the best place in life to be.
