Topic: Lifepoems

the new year comes the new year goes
and with it my life changes
my spirit mind body and soul
it seems ive been waiting for ages

for the day to come when ill finally know
when i can call myself my own
and leave this life of lies behind me
the life i led will never bind me

ive proven to myself that
i can take whatever life throws
ive yet to prove to myself that
nobody ever will know

that im an archangel
and with it the burden
of caring for those
who are close

but hows it a burden
when lifes simply calling
for you to do
what you do best
