Is there a God?

Contributed by packatack on Thursday, 29th December 2005 @ 06:42:35 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Yes yes there is a God
Who once was and is and will be for eternity
Take a look at everything around you
Who could ever create such a universe
We see rulers and presidents all around the world
Why wouldn't there be one up there in charge of them
We hear about miracles that happened to people
How could it be that they happen
We read books about history
How did we learn to do such things like now
In the beginning God created everything in it
And gave us the knowledge to makes things better
So ask yourself this
How could everything work if there was no one else
To supervise, rule and teach us these things now
I know for a fact he is real
Because He saved my life from dying of alcohol poisoning
Only person who helped me was Him
Yes yes I do believe that there is a God
Do you?

if I ask that question and answer it myself, I would say yes. still I guess, I am not so unique to always question it. when i try to think, my mind goes batty, when i feel, i feel right. if we are supposed to have a soul, and its the true us, then when we die, where does it go . anyway a nice poem, gets you to think

Not exactly like you do, however, this is a beautiful poem.

Also, I am glad you did not die of alcohol poisoning and you are still here to share your talents with us.

Take care,

Tim
:-)

I heard something said, the proof is in the pudding, now if I truly wanted to know about pudding, I would do some research and read up on pudding. Only you can answer that question. Nice write... Raquel Leah

Good reasoning. After all, what's more reasonable: "life came from non-life", or, ( and this is God ), "life has just always been"?
Anyway, everything God created, He created with the "appearance" of age. Adam was not a tiny baby when he was created, and the chicken came -before the egg. Tree before the fruit, etc. God bless
