Waiting

Contributed by Cucuavanda on Thursday, 29th December 2005 @ 05:20:41 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

No matter what happens I will wait,
For I was made to be your helpmate,
The Lord made me for you only,
And no matter how lonely,
I feel, I will wait as long as it takes,
For I have learned from my past mistakes,
I am glad I have not had a boyfriend yet,
It is the one thing I do not regret,
You will be my first, my only,
I pray for you daily,
That I am the best I can be everyday,
And that I respect you in every way,
In all I do and all I say,
I can't wait until I meet you,
I can't wait until we fall for each other,
As the days drag on I'll dream of you,
You make the grey-rainy days brighter,
It is comforting knowing that the Good Lord made you with me in mind,
It is you I want to find,
I love you so much my husband,
I long for you to be here, I miss you;You leave me speechless and stunned,
Your beauty is beyond compare,
A man like you is indeed very rare,
I am so lucky to call you mine,
And in time,
You will no longer be a dream; you will be real,
And a great love I shall feel,
Stronger than I ever have before,
I can't wait for what's in store,
Thank you Lord for him wherever he is,
Whoever he is,
Send him to me soon please,
And ease,
This loneliness inside of me,
I have waited for him in every way; he will be the only man I give myself to,
My wedding day I long to see,
Help me Lord, to love him in all I do,
Help these long lonely years until I meet him pass by,
Make the time fly...

~Dove's Promise~

Your future husband is a blessed and lucky man. It's ironic because he doesn't even know it .....yet!
Good write
Butch
