Long shadows
Creating lasting impressions in my mind
Silhouettes of things that matter
Frozen in time
Streetlights, moonlight
The sky is clear
The moon is just right
Stuck with feelings I can't bare
I reflect upon myself
Why couldn't I cut it back then?
So much doubt inside myself
I am now where I should have been
Years ago
I share comfort in the wind
Always moving, changing,
Never knowing where to begin
So I'll continue on
With my shadow as my friend
Trying to find myself
And where the happiness begins

its a good write, nice expression. just a bit depressing, don't forget all the good things in life! move on from the sad, you will find yourself in time, and if you spend your whole life searching for it you will miss what life really is.
