Summed Up In A Scream

writhing eyes
-scour-
I fall victim
to the stare
-clad iron promises-
summed up in a scream

calloused hands
reach for me
-close my eyes tight-
never surrender
to the unrelenting fright

shallow breath
on my tingling neck
-numb-
from holding my breath

why do I fall victim
to the clad iron promises
of choice?

as the writhing demons scream
-I close my eyes tight-
this is only a ******* dream!

ha good write, like the last part a lot, it totally came out of nowhere
